SÖDRA skogsägarna
Södra Skogsägarna is an association in which over 50,000 small-scale forest owners in southern Sweden are members. Together, they own a world-leading industry that transforms raw materials into products with a low climate footprint. Everything begins in the forest, with families who have cared for their forest for generations. It’s forestry based on a heritage of knowledge, reflection, and commitment.
During research and filming, we met many different Södra members. In doing so, we experienced first-hand the wide range of thoughts – indeed, even philosophies – that family forest owners can have about their forests. But they all share the same driving force: to create growing values beyond the purely financial.
