Lasia

Goodbye old systems, binders and paragraphs. Lasia is a new brand, but the company has been counting every employment day since 1987. Sweden’s leading employment protection law system (also known as LAS) previously went by the name WinLas. We developed a completely new name, identity, tone of voice and concept to better reflect who they are today and tomorrow. A modern tech company that shapes a simpler and more sustainable labour market.

Lasia believes in fairness. More specifically, workplace fairness. In Sweden, everyone with an employment contract is covered by the Employment Protection Act, known as LAS. Hooray for democracy! But the real victory isn’t having a right on paper, but having that right upheld in practice. Lasia makes workforce management and labour law easy for everyone to follow. Because doing things right should be easy. Especially when it comes to employment law.

Neither work life nor personal life follows a straight line. More often, they twist and turn. Lasia’s role is to guide organisations with a steady hand as they support their employees along the way. By blending the shape of a legal paragraph with the first letter of the brand, we created a symbol for how Lasia should be perceived: soft and human.

Lasia operates in an industry where it doesn’t take much to be seen as more approachable than the rest. A lighter, friendlier tone goes a long way. Labour law and the LAS framework are notoriously complex, and Lasia’s mission is to make them simple. Just like the system itself, the tone of voice is designed to feel clear, accessible, and personal.

“Arbetsrätt för alla”, which roughly translates to “labour law for everyone”, captures Lasia’s mission in society.
